I'm Skye Ida, a professional wigs, hair and makeup artist with a growing specialism in wig construction, styling and maintenance for live performance and screen. 

I have always had an infatuation for TV, Film and Theatre, this adoration sprawls into my skills and provides me with the upmost enthusiasms for all projects i encounter. To be able to transform using artistry and tell a story visually is so important. The visuals is the first intake that an audience has to a story being told, this is why i strive for precise details and authenticity. 

I trained over 5 years, first studying media makeup and then attending university to attain my Bachelor Honors degree in Hair and Makeup Application For Tv and Film. During the course of my time in university i was introduced to the construction and styling of wigs. Throughout learning the skillset to create TV and Theatre standard wigs, i truly fell in love and found the subject i was most passionate about. I am currently building my career toward being a specialist wig-maker for the industry and I am happy to contribute to any and all projects that value detail, craftsmanship and storytelling.
